Orbits4 SP1 has been released - Get it today!

AMB i.t. is proud to announce the release of the greatly anticipated Service Pack (SP) 1 for AMB’s Orbits4 software. With this ambitious project, AMB takes the world’s best identification and timing and pushes it to new heights of functionality while simultaneously adding incredible capabilities designed to keep our customers on the cutting edge of competition information technology.

With Orbits4 SP1, users will enjoy full Microsoft Vista compatibility. Not only will SP1 allow data to be written to Vista’s program data file (where administrator rights are not required to run the program), it will also fix any registration problems for customers who have already loaded a previous version of Orbits4 on a Vista equipped computer. For the timers, SP1 will pack a ton of new features into the timing tab and raise the bar for the world’s standard in timing and scoring software. These features include:

• Improved options for handling all aspects of unrelated transponders
• The ability to import passing from another decoder via USB memory stick
• Improved timing tab layout
• mproved assignment of manual passings

Finally, SP1 will make available for purchase two new plug-ins which will usher in a new generation of competition information services.

The first plug-in, TnetX, makes your copy of Orbits4 compatible with AMB’s revolutionary OnBoard TnetX display. The recently introduced TnetX system brings live timing and scoring data directly on board where and when the racer needs it most. The next plug-in, Multiple Active Run (MAR), allows sports from cycling to motocross to have multiple runs in progress simultaneously in the timing tab. The MAR plug-in also allows new finishing methods such as individual finish on laps or time. This capability adds a whole new level of flexibility for the organizers of lap sports.
