Active Sports Timing system used at Eneco Tour 2007 The ENECO Tour 2007 is a road cycling event in Belgium and the Netherlands and is part of the calendar of the UCI ProTour. The ENECO Tour is formerly known as the Netherlands Tour, which is the most important road cycling stage event of the Netherlands. The timekeeping for the ENECO Tour was in hands of one of our Dutch Active Sports Timekeepers Römers Geluidstechniek. This year’s edition had 21 professional teams consisting of each 7 or 8 cyclists. This year’s edition contained 8 cycling days (1 prologue, 6 stages and 1 individual time trail). The 6 regular stages where timed with by Römers Geluidstechniek with the Active Sports Timing System of AMB i.t. The ENECO Tour 2007 knew an exiting ending as the deviation of the pricing was not known until the last cyclist had passed the finish line after the last stage, the individual time trial. The winner of this year’s edition is Jose Ivan Gutierrez (ESP) from the team Caisse d’Epargne. David Millar (UK) and Gustav Erik Larsson (SE) came respectively in second and third place in the General Classification.
